Membership 2007-08

Dear Prospective Syracuse LEAH Member:

Welcome to Syracuse LEAH, also known as, “Syracuse Loving Education at Home.”
We are a local chapter of the greater organization known as New York State LEAH.

Monthly meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month (Aug – May), 7-9 PM at The Reformed Church of Syracuse, 1228 Teall Ave (near James), Syracuse, NY.
By-laws & statement of faith are available at <syracuseleah.org> & monthly meetings.
The fees shown below operate Syr LEAH on merely a non-profit level.

You Have Two Membership Options:

Level I (annual fee $10)
This level is for one of two situations. Either you must be a former NYS LEAH member submitting your application by July 1 and committing to serve on a team  assigned to you by the Board. Or you must be a first time NYS LEAH applicant and thus, exempt from serving during your first year. Former members joining at this level who afterward decline to serve will automatically be raised to the Level II fee of $26.

Level II  (annual fee $26) 
This level is for renewing members missing the July 1 submission deadline; and 
for members joining by July 1 but wishing not to serve on a team.

Important! - Syr LEAH is Paperless!
Your Syr LEAH monthly newsletter is available ONLY via Email.  You MUST send your Name & Email Address to: <newsletter@ syracuseleah.org>  Be sure to put “newsletter” in the subject line.

Everyone must provide the editor with this information each and every year. No one else views your Name & Email Address when the newsletters are sent. If you change your Email Address, you must update the editor with the new one. If you lack a computer, simply utilize the public library and a free email account.

You must accurately list your legislative district numbers & representatives. If uncertain, simply call the Board of Elections at 435-8683 for this information. For application questions, call Head Coordinators Sean & Marcia Cronin at 432-0642.
